Football Studies provides excellent progression opportunities to a wide range of football-related university degrees, including Football Coaching, Performance, Development, Business Management, Journalism and Analysis. Students can progress into careers across coaching, media, marketing, events, psychology and performance, supported by industry-focused knowledge and practical experience.
Over two years, students complete 14 units through exams, set tasks, coursework and practical assessments. Football-related work experience develops industry knowledge and career readiness. Lessons combine practical activities, technology, discussion and teamwork, supported by experienced football staff. Strong organisation, commitment and a positive work ethic are key to success.
Students must buy one kit bundle (Academy-specific or Sport and PE) and purchase revision guides/workbooks for externally assessed units to support course success. Teachers will send links for this.
