Applying at the college is simple. Once you’ve selected a course, please follow our step-by-step guide to get your place at Worthing College locked in.
STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO APPLYING
You can apply online from this website.
Before applying at Worthing College, you may find it useful to research our curriculum departments and meet the team behind each area. You can also look for career advice and guidance with our Progression+ team or seek out financial support for your time at college.
If you know what courses you want to study, you can apply right away.
If you’re undecided, you can browse our full range of courses above and apply directly from a course page. If you click on ‘Apply Now’, our online application form will open. You can then tick the other courses you want to study, complete the rest of the application form, then click on ‘submit’.
We will arrange a meeting with you before we can formally accept you onto the course. This meeting is designed to give you guidance on whether you have chosen the right subjects and gives you the opportunity to find out more and ask any questions you may have.
We have Additional Learning Support course guidance meetings if you are a student that will require support during your time at college. If you wish to have a course guidance meeting with additional support, please e-mail admissions@worthing.ac.uk and we will be able to arrange this for you.
Offers will be sent to you via the email you provide with your online application. The offer will be conditional based on predicted GCSE grades and will require you to accept the offer within 14 days to secure your place.
Following GCSE results day in August 2024, we will email you to ask you to inform us of your grades using our Fast Track application system.
Enrolment is where you officially sign up as a college student. Your enrolment appointment will be sent to you via e-mail nearer the time, and will take place in the first week of September. You will have the opportunity to review your subject selection based on your results with our curriculum advisors.
You will receive your college timetable the week before the start of term, which will outline when you are required to attend classes. If you need any help, talk to our admissions team on 01903 275755 or email at admissions@worthing.ac.uk
