CAMPUS AND FACILITIES AT WORTHING
The Gym
Our on-site gym is home to a huge range of equipment, ranging from treadmills to free weights, and so much more. Our personal training apprentices are on hand to provide advice and supervision for fitness programmes. As a student, you can enjoy low membership costs, at just £50 for the year, or £25 per term.
Facilities
We have excellent sports and fitness facilities on-site, as well as our well-stocked library and learning resource centre. The campus is set on the Grove Lodge Roundabout in Worthing, with great travel access from surrounding areas and into the town centre.
Wi-Fi
Worthing College is a participating organisation of the eduroam WiFi network.
The Premier Shop
The Premier Shop is an on-site convenience store, located in the West Hub, providing students and staff with a wide variety of sandwiches, snacks, drinks and confectionery. It also sells stationery items as well as personal care products including, shower gel, toothpaste and tissues.
Everything is competitively priced making the Premier Shop is a hit with students and staff alike. Open Mon-Fri, 8.30am-3.30pm.
West Hub Café
Enjoy hot and cold food in the newly refurbished West Hub Café. With a grab and go offer, a baguette bar and a Starbucks Coffee outlet, there’s plenty of choice at the brand new café.
The Learning Resource Centre
Our Library provides internet access and all the study facilities you’ll need to get ahead. Well stocked and fully staffed, there’s always someone on hand to help. Printing and scanning facilities are also available, alongside a number of computers and workstations. We have study areas for noise-free, uninterrupted study and dynamic spaces to collaborate and learn.
Visual Arts and Media
For students studying visual arts, we have a range of studios set to support you in each area of study. There are specialist film, media and graphic communication classrooms setup for editing with software necessary to enable development in this area.
There is a dark room for photography students allowing you to develop your skills using different forms of presentation, whilst providing experience in alternative photography techniques.
Fine Art and Textiles also have studios and workspaces set up to allow development in these hands-on learning areas, with all the tools and materials provided to give industry experience.
Science Laboratories
We have dedicated and well-equipped science laboratories to support study in all aspects of science, from biology and chemistry to electronics and engineering.
