The Worthing College Open Event took place on Tuesday 25th February with plenty of activities taking place throughout the evening.

All curriculum areas were placed on the first floor of the college, with plenty of students asking more questions about their chosen courses, and speaking to teachers.

Principal, Paul Riley hosted two separate Q&A sessions during the evening, where a number of important questions were answered and put potentials students’ minds at ease. It was a great setting to speak to the Principal in an informal setting and find out more information about college life. Peer mentors were also available to provide a better insight to potential students from the view of current students.

The main event of the evening was the Aspire talk, organised by Aspire Co-Ordinator, Chris Turner. He had invited alumni student Rebecca Harris, who currently studies at the New College of Humanities, back to the college to speak to students about how the Aspire Programme helped her apply to university and gave some fantastic tips for students looking to start college in September.
