Five former Worthing College students have gone on to graduate with degrees illustrating how the college can provide a first-class springboard to university success.

Alfie Beck, Ellen Alliston, Ethan Davey, Kiko Tanev and Ryan Swietlik graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Sport & Exercise Science after progressing from the FdSc Sport, Exercise and Health Science at Worthing College.
It marks the successful completion of their undergraduate studies, highlighting the outstanding progression opportunities available through Worthing College’s higher education sport programmes.
Dave Hall, Teaching & Learning Manager for Sport at Worthing College, praised the achievements of the graduates and the support provided throughout their educational journey. He said:
“We are incredibly proud of these students and all they have achieved. Their success is a testament not only to their hard work and dedication, but also to the outstanding support and guidance provided by Chris Child and Jon Bond (both Lecturers on the Foundation Degree).
“Together, they continue to inspire our Foundation Degree students with the confidence and belief that they can succeed in higher education and achieve their career ambitions.”
Dave Hall added that among this year’s graduates, Ellen Alliston’s journey stands out as a remarkable success story. Beginning her studies on a Level 2 Sport programme at Worthing College, Ellen has now progressed all the way to Level 6 and university graduation, demonstrating exceptional commitment and resilience.
For students considering their next step in sport education, the Foundation Degree at Worthing College offers an accessible, supportive and proven route to university-level study, opening doors to a wide range of careers within sport, exercise and health.
