At Worthing College, we don’t just develop better players; we develop better people. The confidence, character and professionalism gained through the Men’s Football Performance Programme provide a platform for success in HE, apprenticeships and employment. While some players progress into the semi-professional and professional game, all leave with the skills and experiences to succeed.
A typical week includes technical and tactical football training, strength and conditioning, competitive fixtures and opportunities to represent the College at regional and national championships. Academic athletes also benefit from ‘Beyond the Field of Play’ work covering psychology, nutrition, recovery, performance analysis and lifestyle, helping deliver the extra 1%s that drive success.
