Siân Hamilton – Teacher of Sport

I have recently completed my Level 1 FA football coaching qualification and am looking to progress onto Level 2 to maintain my involvement in football. I have graduated from the University of Brighton with a certificate of education with my teaching practice being recognised as outstanding.

To date I have great experience teaching within further education specialising in Level 2 and Level 3 BTEC sport.

My knowledge and expertise also stretch to planning and undertaking international trips, as well as 12 years’ experience of playing football.

My dedication and interest in sport has been a major part of my life choices and interests. I was team member of one of the first female football teams in my county and participated in football for 12 years as a centre back, seeing out my final years as captain.

Worthing College inspires us all to be creative and make the student the centre of everything we do. The teaching experience, along with the student experience, is the best I have had the pleasure of being a part of. There is an excellent sense of teamwork and expertise that help to innovate and shape the future of our students.
