Paula Wheeler – Subject Leader for Foundation Maths

I have been teaching maths for over 20 years and have a wealth of knowledge in the subject. As a subject specialist I pride myself on achieving excellent results for my students. My aim and focus are not just to gain you a pass in maths but for you to enjoy coming to lessons and improving your maths skills. You will experience a great welcoming environment when you attend maths lessons. I take part in research and support networks which look at best practice, so all lessons are delivered to the maximum effectiveness. The colleges results in GCSE maths are three times the national average, which was recognised in our recent outstanding Ofsted grade. The picture here is to give you a little bit of my personality, I raced that fierce beast (50 cc engine) across Nepal to southern India in 2010.
