Ben Coulson – Teacher of Sport

I have been teaching for twenty years; five at Durrington High & fifteen at Worthing College. 

I’m a level 3 rugby coach, currently lead rugby coach at Worthing College, a Harlequins DPP coach and Sussex U16s Lead coach. I also hold FA and ECB coaching awards.

I’ve been in the privileged position of coaching Worthing Raiders 1st XV, Hove RFC well as Sussex age grades (U15-20s).

My playing career included Durham Uni 1st XV, Worthing Raiders, Hove RFC 1st XV, Wellington FC Prems in New Zealand and I played age grade rugby for Sussex (U14-U19s), London & SE (U16-U19s) and schoolboy rugby for ‘England A.’

I along with all other staff in the PE & Sport department are driven to create the best learning environment for our students. Worthing is an excellent place to work and study, and it provides students with the best of academic, sporting and social environments to develop and thrive within.
