Well stocked and supported by qualified staff, the Worthing College Library offers a welcoming space for study, research and reading. Printing, scanning and IT facilities are available to help you produce your best work, and there is always someone on hand to support you.

Library services

Located on the lower ground floor beneath Main Reception, the Library provides the resources, internet access and study spaces you’ll need to succeed.

The Library is at the heart of college life, working closely with teaching staff to provide a targeted range of print and online resources to support your courses.

All students and staff are automatically members of the Library and can borrow items free of charge.

Library staff offer support to individuals and groups, including help with research, referencing and using online resources.

Facilities

The library is open  Monday to Friday: 08:15 – 16:15 (Term time only)

Our facilities include:

  • Space for quiet study and coursework (60 seats)
  • Computer workstations, including accessible equipment
  • Printing, scanning and photocopying
  • A wide range of textbooks, subject resources and reference materials
  • Journals and magazines
  • Access to online academic journal databases, eBooks and subject resources
  • Fiction, including Quick Reads and graphic novels
  • An inclusive selection of items for those who have difficulty reading or are not natural readers
