As part of your Foundation Degree in Sport, Exercise and Health Science, we currently facilitate students in completing a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification as a part of the course. We look at each application individually, considering your grades, interview performance, and any relevant experience. While we typically expect the following qualifications:
- A relevant Level 3 qualification or A-levels (or equivalent). Individual offer conditions will vary.
- Applicants will have achieved grades 9-4 (A*-C) in GCSE Math’s and GCSE English.

Preparing for an interview requires a mix of technical knowledge, enthusiasm for sport, and an understanding of how your skills align with the industry. By preparing well, you will demonstrate that you are serious about the course and your future!
After completing the Foundation Degree in Sport, Exercise & Health Sciences, you will have several options to continue your studies or enter the workforce.
You can progress to Year 3 (Level 6) at the University of Chichester and top up to a full degree, choosing from the following BSc (Hons) courses:
