COURSE OVERVIEW
The Foundation Degree (FdSc) in Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences has been developed to equip individuals with the scientific knowledge relevant to the health and fitness industry as well as the necessary professional qualifications and skills. The programme is principally aimed at individuals who wish to enter or develop a career within the health and fitness industry.
To accommodate the principles and defining characteristics of a Foundation Degree, the programme is delivered through a modular mode of study blending traditional methods of teaching and learning with aspects of work-based learning. Equally the curriculum has been designed to ensure that individuals can draw on the work-based responsibilities that they undertake in each academic year.

All students complete an interview and mature Learners can present a portfolio of relevant work experience and undertake an assessment as part of their application.
Once you have acquired the Foundation Degree in Sport, Exercise and Health Science you will be entitled to progress to Level 6 of the following programmes at the University of Chichester.
