Worthing College celebrates outstanding A-Level success – 2025 results are in!
Worthing College was alive with excitement and pride today (14 August 2025) as students collected their A-Level results – a day that marks not just the end of exams, but the beginning of bright futures for all of our college leavers.
This year’s achievements are nothing short of exceptional, with the college securing a 97% overall A-Level pass rate. Behind that figure lies countless hours of hard work, determination, and resilience from our students – and today, all that effort has truly paid off.
Principal Helena Thomas, who leads both Northbrook College and Worthing College, said:
“Today is about so much more than grades on a piece of paper – it’s about dreams being realised, challenges overcome, and the incredible journeys our students have taken over the past two years. We couldn’t be prouder. These results reflect not only academic excellence but the character, determination and personal growth of every single student.
“Worthing College also celebrated outstanding subject successes, with many subjects achieving a 100% pass rate, including art & design, electronics, film studies, history, physics, and sociology.”
Helena continued:
“I want to extend heartfelt thanks to our teaching and support staff. Their passion, expertise, and belief in our students have been the driving force behind this success. They’ve inspired, encouraged, and supported every student to reach their potential.
“With many students heading off to top universities, prestigious apprenticeships, and exciting career opportunities, today’s results are a powerful reminder of what’s possible when ambition meets support.
“At Worthing College, we don’t just teach subjects, we build futures. Today’s celebrations show what happens when young people are empowered to believe in themselves and given the tools to thrive – academically, personally, and beyond.”
