Local Talent Recognised: Worthing College Student selected for summer exhibition
Worthing College student Hayden Robbins’ work is featuring in the Royal Academy of the Arts Young Artists’ Summer Show.
More than 23,000 students nationwide took part and submitted their work for the display, with Hayden’s work being selected as one of only 545 artworks chosen for the online exhibition.
The exhibition is for students aged between four and eighteen, and forms a showcase and celebration of the skill and creativity of young artists up and down the country.
Hayden submitted a piece for the exhibition, which followed the style of ‘Surrealism’. The photos were designed to convey a sense of mystery, showing a lack of colour and emotion, which makes the viewer question what the image is showing.
The exhibition, which is in its seventh year, features a variety of work chosen by an expert panel of judges, including Royal Academicians and RA Schools students.
