Students at Worthing College enjoyed a day of celebration when they collected their results on Thursday (18 August).

The atmosphere around the college was buzzing, with students arriving throughout the morning to open their A-level results – ending an anxious wait over the summer.

And for most, it was exciting news! Millie White was overjoyed to receive an A and two A* grades and is looking forward to study English at King’s College.

She said: “I’m really happy with my results!

“I’ve enjoyed studying at Worthing – the teachers, people and overall atmosphere have made it for me.”

Ashley Hewitt-Martin also spoke of their delight at having achieved two A grades and an A* in finance and said: “I’m really happy with my results – it’s been great here!

“I’ve decided I want to do something completely different now, so I’m going to be going back to college at Brighton MET to do fashion and my aim is to go to university to study fashion journalism!”

And Ramona is heading to Bournemouth University to study TV production after achieving a haul of three B grades. She praised her teachers for helping her during her time at college.

She said: “The teachers are fantastic and I enjoyed creating my own short film.”
