Worthing College win fourth Sussex title

Worthing College’s netball team have won the Under 19s Sussex Cup for fourth successive season.

The team travelled to Roedean School to play the final of the U19 Sussex Cup against Collyer’s last week.
 
Players, coaches and spectators were fortunate to be surrounded by glorious weather as the team fought to victory with their 71-20 win.
 
Tina Price, Head Coach, said: “This is a fantastic win for the netball squad. 
 
“They dominated throughout the match playing some lovely netball, and I am thrilled that Worthing College have retained the Sussex Cup once again.”
 
It sets the team up well for their next challenge, as they look ahead to the AoC (Association of Colleges) National Championship Finals at Nottingham University later this month.
 
They will be representing the South East region by playing a tough nine matches against the other regions over the course of a weekend.

The squad ready to take on the championships include Izzy Miller, Jess Sanford, Freya Knight, Milly Cliff, Chloe Edwards, Olivia Curtis, Katie Dicker, Yasmin Griffiths and Emma Hall.
