Entry requirements

Entry requirements: To enrol in the Level 4 AAT course, students must:

  • have completed the Level 3 Diploma in Accounting, or Level 3 Assistant Accountant apprenticeship.
  • have an excellent level of spoken and written English.
  • have access to a computer, MS Office Excel and reliable internet connection is essential (students studying Using Accounting Software Unit can use Sage at the College library).

Please be aware of the need to spend a significant amount of time away from the classroom undertaking independent study.

  • ESOL or other study programme students must complete these qualifications before enrolling on AAT Level 4.

In this qualification you will cover higher accounting tasks including drafting financial statements, managing budgets, personal and business tax calculations, audit, and business skills. This flexible course is delivered in partnership with Mindful Education and combines online learning with face-to-face lessons in the classroom.
