In February 2020, our visual arts students set off to the Big Apple to soak up the art culture in New York. They had a great opportunity being able to experience world-renowned art museums like the MoMA, Guggenheim and the Museum of Art and Design, as well as sights like the Empire State Building.
Margam, Wales
44 A-level Geography students went on a week long trip to Margum in South Wales in March 2019 to collect primary data for their individual NEA (coursework projects).
Paris, France
In February 2019, 30 students from the Visual Arts and Media department went to Paris to explore the city and see the sights.
Flachau, Austria
The annual ski trip involved students travelling to Austria in February 2019 to spend a week in Salzberg.
Salou, Spain
For the third year in a row, members of the football team travelled out to Salou for their annual training camp in February 2019.
Auschwitz, Poland
In November 2018, two students visited the concentration camp of Auschwitz in Poland as part of an initiative run by the "lessons from Auschwitz" society.
Costa Rica
After 6 months of fundraising, 9 students had the opportunity of a lifetime volunterring in Costa Rica in November 2018.
