PERSONAL TUTOR

JOB TYPE: 18 hours, working 39 weeks (paid for 44.5 weeks).

Pro Rata of £21,087 (i.e. £8,778.94) per annum

Chichester College Group is looking to appoint a Personal Tutor for Worthing College. This varied role, in a busy office environment, will be responsible for providing pastoral support to students.

The post holder will work in a team of Tutors, meeting regularly with students on a one-to-one basis, monitoring their academic progress, supporting their wellbeing and providing guidance about their progression pathways, including support with applications for university.

 

The position is fixed term until 31 July 2020.

SENIOR TUTOR

JOB TYPE: 18.67 hours, working 39 weeks (paid for 45.1 weeks).

Pro Rata of £26,724 - £29,210 (i.e. £11,695.46 - £12,783.43) per annum

Chichester College Group is looking to appoint a Senior Tutor that will provide pastoral supervision and support to students.

 

The post holder will deliver high quality pastoral supervision, guidance and support to students on a 1 to 1 basis in order to enhance their achievement, progression, personal development and wellbeing.

 

The senior tutor will task manage and quality assure the work of a small team of Personal Tutors and take referrals from them of students who are presenting a cause for concern.

 

The post holder will also work as a member of the Group’s Safeguarding Team. It is essential that you have significant, relevant experience of providing advice, guidance and information to the 16-19 age group, as well as effective organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. You will have GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above and be qualified to A Level or the equivalent. 

 

The position is fixed term until 31 July 2020.
