The last week of November has proven to be a very busy week for the Science team as they've been preparing lots of our students for their upcoming Veterinary, Medicine and Oxbridge interviews.
Our Aspire Programme and Science Teachers have been working together to ensure students get the best advice and help with their university applications. These courses can be highly competitive and Veterinary and Medicine interviews often take the format of multiple mini-interviews at different stations, so our staff have been busy quizzing our students against the clock.
Our students have also been encouraged to do work experience. Our Work Store helps arrange experiences at Worthing Hospital and local Veterinary Practices and Charities and our students have had some wonderful stories to tell in their interviews. This covers everything from feeding newborn lambs and neutering rats to watching pacemakers being fitted. This all helps our students make a good impression at an interview and to make the next step in their educational journey.
