Have you ever wondered who decides what age rating a film is given? Or how they decide why it’s given that rating? It’s often something that is overlooked by most people.
On 30th April our Media and Film students had a fantastic talk given by Joe Ruocco from the British Board of Film Classification, the body responsible for rating films, TV and music videos in the UK. Joe came to talk to our students about everything involved with classifying films and how they decide on what ratings to give. It was a hugely engaging and informative talk for all students involved!
