This year Worthing College has sent off a record-breaking 35 early applicant University applications. The 35 students have applied for a wide range of courses including Medicine, Veterinary Medicine and Dentistry with over half of our applicants including the University of Oxford or Cambridge in their application choices.
The post application support then shifted to practice and revision for the early applicant entrance tests. Weekly support sessions were provided to best facilitate the student's preparations for the entrance tests which took place on the 30th October.
Over the last couple of weeks, the students have been prepped and tested for their upcoming university interviews. Leading subject teachers from around the College have provided each student with course-specific practice interviews. These practice interviews have been facilitated by Chris Turner (Aspire Co-ordinator), who has also focused on boosting the student’s confidence going into these interviews and has provided top tips on body language, eye contact and awkward silences!
Offers for interviews have been coming in thick and fast. The whole college community wish these students the best of luck in their interviews. We know they can do it and regardless of the outcome, they are true ambassadors of Worthing College and the Chichester College Group.
