University isn’t always the right progression route for everyone, increasingly students are looking for other routes after their time at college, and it’s important that our students are aware of all the progression options available.
We recently hosted Ian Rycroft, who oversees maintenance of their fleet of aircraft in British Airways Hanger 6 at Gatwick, who gave an influential & informative talk to students about the options apprenticeships open up. Alongside the obvious benefit of earning while you learn, the attraction of an apprenticeship is the benefits of working alongside experienced staff members while you’re learning and being given real world practical experience in exciting locations.
He covered all the apprentices that British Airways offer, and it’s a lot! You can do an apprenticeship in practically everything BA does, from ground crew and baggage handling, cargo and warehousing, to engineering, cabin crew and customer service, and even business management in their head office. Some of these apprenticeships even go up to a degree equivalent level 7 apprenticeship!
Whatever your progression looks like, we will prepare you for those next steps! Apply today, and start your journey.
