We welcomed the London Institute of Banking and Finance (LIB&F) area representative, David Anderson to the college on Wednesday 13th November. See more below.
David was able to join a second year Finance lesson to award scholarship certificates to those that achieved an A grade in their first year. The £500 scholarship is redeemed when the student signs up to study a banking degree at the LIB&F University.
During the lesson, David introduced the different degrees the university offers, whilst talking about the careers available in financial services. This was a great opportunity for students to ask questions about the sector and university courses.
The successful students were encouraged to include this experience in their personal statements. Congratulations to Thomas Caswell, Lydon Gladman and Ryan Preddy who accepted their scholarship certificates. We’d also like to congratulate the Year 13 students that left the College in the summer; Toby Champion, James Frankling and Flora Ling.
