Vice Principal, Paul Riley, was delighted to confirm that the College was successful in its assessment for the Matrix Standard last week following an intensive two and a half day assessment visit that ran from the 11th to 13th November. He said, "Thanks for the time given over by individual staff, apprentices and students alongside partner organisation representatives including Albion in the Community and local employers.
The Matrix Standard is a kite mark for the quality of information, advice and guidance services, akin to Investors in People or the Investors in Careers. As such, it is the quality framework for organisations to assess and measure their information, advice and/or guidance services, which ultimately supports individuals in their choice of career, learning, work and life goals. Our review covered Student Advice and Support, Admissions, Apprenticeships and Guidance Services including tutoring and The Work Store. Well done to all concerned." Want to find out more, click here.
