GOAL! Worthing college student shoots her shot for National Netball team
BTEC Sport student, Jess Sanford, is thrilled to discover that she has been selected for the AoC (Association of Colleges) National Netball team, following recent trials.
 Jess said: “I’m so thrilled to be selected for the National Colleges Netball Squad. I’m looking forward to playing netball with players from all over the country and competing against other national teams.”
The college is thrilled for yet another netball success after recently winning the U19 Sussex Round of National Schools for a fourth consecutive year and are looking to defend their National title.
Netball coach, Tina Price, added: Â “We’re extremely proud of Jess. The selection process is extremely competitive at national level, so to be included in the national squad is a fantastic achievement.
“It’s great to see Jess representing Worthing College and I know we’ll all be cheering her on.”
National Colleges Netball representative teams have been operating for more than 15 years providing a unique and exciting opportunity for talented female netballers to perform at international level representing their country through domestic and international fixtures.
