We provide expert support and advice for students considering progression to an apprenticeship. An apprenticeship is a real job with training. You earn while you learn, achieve recognised qualifications as you go and increase your prospects of securing a good job afterwards.
As well as supporting students to apply for external apprenticeships, Worthing College provides a range of its own apprenticeship opportunities in Business Administration, IT, Activity Leadership, Sports Development, Exercise and Fitness, Leadership and Management and many more.
Our dedicated and highly qualified staff are industry experts and are passionate about recruiting students, supporting them to apply and matching applicants to suitable vacancies.
Apprenticeships and degree apprenticeships are promoted to Worthing College students at Level 2 Progression Morning and Level 3 Careers Inspiration Day. Parents and carers can find out more about apprenticeships at our information evenings in January and February.
Support with applications is provided by the Work Store and Personal Tutors, through 1 to 1 Progression Interviews and June Progression tutorials.
To find out more, students should speak to their Personal Tutor.
