The Aspire programme is a support programme for our students who are intending to apply to the most competitive universities. Students who achieve at least 5 grade A's at GCSE are invited to join the Aspire Programme. The goal of the Aspire Programme is to enhance and enrich all students by providing stimulating activities to support academic studies and expand knowledge and understanding. We also aim to inspire and support our most able students to make successful applications to competitive universities.

The Aspire Programme

Five Aspects of Aspire:

  1. CUPP (Competitive University Preparation Programme)

  2. EPQ (Extended Pro

  3. Aspire Lectures

  4. University Preparation

  5. Supporting University Application

Trips with Aspire:

20 students from the CUPP/Aspire Programme attended each University open day (40 in total). They were able to visit and take tours of all of the colleges at each University, experience sample lectures, talk to current students, experience the vibe of each city and gain vital application/interview advice from each University through specific lectures that they delivered on the day.

Competitive University Preparation Programme:

The programme is aimed at students applying to Oxbridge, or competitive courses. The programme involves weekly sessions where students learn the required skills for further and higher education. Plus, students complete an EPQ and start their UCAS application.
